Maxine is a chartered engineer with specialist expertise in Tribology and materials degradation mechanisms including wear mechanisms, rolling contact fatigue, cracking mechanisms, mechanical damage, impact, and fatigue.   She also has experience in providing independent advice and expert witness reports for legal (criminal and civil) and insurance cases and for other investigatory bodies including the HSE and rail accident investigation in the UK.
