Charles is a metallurgical engineer specialising in high temperature creep fatigue, asset management and remnant life assessment. He has expertise in the fracture behaviour of steels and high temperature performance of materials in the petrochemical, refinery and power generation industries.

Charles has over 27 years experience as a metallurgical consultant, during which time he has developed a reformer furnace life assessment methodology and completed significant projects in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Canada and Chile. Charles has established a global reputation as a reformer, high temperature furnace and boiler expert.
